BORGEN PRODUCTION AS & INSIGHT

Journalist, author and documentary filmmaker Erling Borgen is head of Scandinavia's only professional television production company that solely makes documentaries about human rights, art and culture. In addition we organize journalist courses for TV journalists in developing countries. As a matter of principle, we don't make commercials or reality-TV.

Erling Borgen has worked as a journalist for more than 30 years, and was employed by NRK (the Norwegian Broadcasting Company) for 22 years. Among other things, he was NRK's foreign correspondent in Latin America (1988-1992) and in China (1996-1999). Every year Erling Borgen gives about 50 lectures on human rights issues. He is a frequent participant in television debates.

We are located in fully equiped production offices in Oslo.

The TV production company consists of the TV foundation INSIGHT (INNSIKT) and Borgen Production A/S. Since the start in 1999 we have made 22 in depth television documentaries. All of them have been shown on national and international TV channels.
